About Bill Stearns
Over the last 13 years, I have worked with an exceptionally diverse clientbase. From professional athletes to retirees restarting their fitness routine, I’ve learned a custom approach is the only approach to wellness.
While attending Bridgewater State University, I earned my B.S in Exercise Science, played collegiate football and competed in Olympic Weightlifting. During that time, I interned as a Strength & Conditioning Coach with the athletic programs at both Northeastern University and Boston College. I learned the fundamentals of design and implementation of comprehensive strength programs for multiple varsity sports.
Upon graduating, I worked at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA. I consulted directly with Olympic and Paralympic athletes on proper form and technique. I learned effective communication and honed my coaching skills as athletes faced unique challenges such as injuries, blindness, and amputations.
After returning to the East Coast, I began my decade-long career in Personal Training within the luxury gym industry. In addition to maintaining a full roster of clients, I took on additional roles within the company such as internal educator for our Personal Training curriculum, and professional mentor to new hires.
I began SHARP to reach motivated clients within Boston and beyond.
Why SHARP Fitness
While spending over a decade in luxury fitness clubs, I noticed an unfortunate truth - there is significant wasted time and effort in the gym. Many members would come in day after day, week after week, year after year and sadly see little to no progress.
Through SHARP, I work with clients to fill the gaps in their fitness programs, nutrition habits, and lifestyles that are holding them back from the results they are looking to achieve.
My focus is working with busy professionals and parents on how to optimize their wellness regimen. Together we’ll set challenging but achievable goals that feel sustainable, and evolve as you progress.
